If you have been arrested or you are under investigation for a crime, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT (Do So!) and  STATEMENTS MADE BY YOU TO THE POLICE WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU (So remain silent).  YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO AN ATTORNEY and if you are viewing this website, you are on the right track.  In the past, I have represented clients on charges which have ranged from minor crimes such as harassment and trespassing to more serious felonies such as drug trafficking, attempted murder and capital murder.  However, for more heinous and serious crimes which involve the loss of life or serious injuries such as rape and child abuse, I will only represent a person that I personally believe is innocent or had a legal or morally justifiable reason to commit the act. (Think “A Time to Kill“).

No matter what type of crime you have been charged with, you should at least consult with an attorney no matter how insignificant it may seem to you at this time. You may have certain legal rights and processes available to you to have the charge dismissed and/or deferred. Even if the charge cannot be dismissed and you are guilty, I can usually negotiate a plea agreement with the prosecutor. Finally, I can represent you in front of a jury and the prosecutor will have to prove your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
